Beginning C# Programming App Reviews

9 Customer Reviews:

1. It has a horrible interface that does not look like a Mac OS X app. 2. The app has limited functionality: it displays slides (pictures) and lets you answer a few simplistic quiz questions. 3. C# on a Mac? Really? Besides, there is minimal information pertaining to unique features of C#. It should be named LearnBasicProgramming.

Hi I wrote a review yesterday after I downloaded this. I couldnt get into the tutotrials after I double clicked. The app runs great - IT WAS MY FAULT. The settings for my mouse were too quick. This developer has done a great job with this app.

Whoever wrote this app was a programer, not a teacher. This app is supposed to be for beginners, yet it teaches us like we already know what theyre talking about. I am a beginner and this is not made for beginners. Also, the program is sloppy. Mispellings all over the place and Im not sure when Im supposed to use the "quiz mode". This is not a good tool for beginners to learn C#, despite the name of the app. I want my $2 back

As a beginner, i can tell anyone that this may say its for beginners, but its not. For example: "string [] args- arguments of the method" This app doesnt explain what this means. What or who is arguing agianst what? What method? This kind of thing is present through out this app, my english teacher once told me when writing a how to paper, write it like the reader has never heard about and doesnt know about the subject AT ALL. The developers dont know how to write a "how to" app. Dont buy, it didnt help me one bit, it just left me with more questions than it answered.

I dont know why other people are complaining about how they do not understand the syntax. Learning to program is like learning a language. Please make the window resizeable and add more subjects. I have done some VB before and this was basic information to me. I you are somewhat used to programming, just wait till more information is added. If you are completely new to programming, just remove and add to the code. That is the fastest way to learn. At $0.99 you cant really go wrong. I hope for future updates and more information to be added.

expect the person to use a Windows PC to be able to use the only ‘suggested’ choice for compiler being a product designed purely for Windows. At least update it to focus on the Environment that the tutorial is being used in. Glad I only wasted a dollar.
